Anti Aging refers to attempts to slow down or reverse aging processes to extend both the maximum and average lifespan. Researchers believe that future breakthroughs in tissue rejuvenation with stem cells, molecular repair, androgen replacement will enable humans to have indefinite lifespans through complete rejuvenation to a youthful condition.
During aging, an organism accumulates damage to macromolecules, cells, tissues, and organs. Humans have a maximum lifespan of over 120 years, while a mouse, commonly used as a model in research on aging, has a maximum lifespan of about four years. Genetic differences between humans and mice that may account for these different aging rates include the efficiency of DNA repair, types and quantities of antioxidant enzymes, and different rates of free radical production.
Infant and child mortality, frequently linked to infectious diseases or nutrition problems, lowers the average lifespan in a population by reducing it. Vulnerability to accidents and age-related chronic diseases such as cancer or cardiovascular disease increases mortality. The expected lifespan can often be extended by diet, exercise, and avoiding hazards such as smoking.
Specialists determine maximum lifespan by the rate of aging for a species inherent in its genes and by environmental factors. One method of extending maximum lifespan in organisms such as nematodes is calorie restriction. Another technique they use is evolutionary pressure, such as breeding from only older members.
Theoretically, they could achieve an extension of maximum lifespan by reducing the rate of aging damage. They can also achieve it by periodically replacing damaged tissues or rejuvenating deteriorated cells and tissues.
Our anti-aging programs and therapies result from years of medical research with advances in biotechnology. We can now offer patients the medical treatments. They combine both mainstream medicine and alternative medicine to provide the benefits of a vibrant lifestyle and extended lifespan. CLICK HERE TO START!
